Somehow I missed all this until now, but it appears racing driver Ben Collins is the Stig. Anyone know more about this?

He was the Stig in the UK version of theshow. The new one with the comedian and drifter and whiny guy is the American version, with an American Stig

The UK version has a new stig but I strongly suspect it's Tiff Needle doing some favours for his old company until they find a new one. I'm just saying this since the new one has a very oversteery driving style.
