RE: Back pain
Ive got it and have had it for a few years now. Working construction takes a toll on your body and used to be worth it but am not sure anymore. Also get pinched nerves in my neck quite often too.
Could probably get partial disability if i tried.

RE: Back pain
yeah manual labor sucks. I get the pain down the leg now never had that before. also would get stingers in the neck. this has been going off and on for about 6 years but would only hit me once maybe twice a year at most and would go away after a few days and a tub of mineral ice. I went to the doctor he sent me to a specialist so I could sit in his office for 45 min just for him to tell me I have a pinched nerve, I was like really dude! I could told you that and saved myself the copay and half day off from work you douchebag. So i was like whats next? He wanted to give me a shot and drugs and I asked him is that going to fix the problem? he said no not really. So back pain sucks and because doctors are so stupid they would rather make drug addicts then fix someone with a back problem.

i have a very strong back, but if i stand still or sit too long in the same spot, the uppper center of my back goes numb and achs, it also flares up when i go to bed.
perfectly fine while working, even picking up transmissions and walking them over to a bench, but i cant sit idle.

RE: Back pain
yeah well when I was 22 it was all good for me also. I was the transmission guy but saturn did not have guys pulling trans you had to do all the work. so years of pulling rebuilding transmissions and engines will beat up the strongest backs. I was stupid all muscles no brains would just put the trans on my shoulder cause I could not wait for the trans jack. I know now always thought the old timers were wimps but they were just smart. one guy would always tell me work smarter not harder. Oh how I wish I took his advice.

don't get a shot, they don't help anything and only make it "feel better" meanwhile you do more damage because it doesn't hurt.
a few years back a had a "procedure" called atlas-profilax done and my back pain went bye bye for good.
basically it aligns the top vertabre (the atlas bone), most people have a mis aligned atlas bone, we are born with it out of whack.
google atlas profilax and read for yourself. it works.

RE: Back pain
I live with it daily. Living in Michigan we are allowed to smoke canibus for it so I got my card. Now I smoke when needed and it works great! Can't say it lasts all that long (at least the pain releaving part) but it works wonders when you're in pain. I have taken other pills and more other pills that my doc rx'd to me and they all left me feeling queezy and sick. I get none of those nasty side effects.

I won't lie to save my own ars. I pick honesty for $800 Alex. If you get time, watch "The Union" on youtube. It is several parts long (like 14 or so) but it is one of the best documentaries on it that I've seen to date.
