Who makes this stuff up...
Anybody ever notice some things from China/Japan are connected by something you can't find a tool that will fit for. I was taking apart a hard drive a little while ago, out of 15 different sized hex wrenches, metric and US, not one would fit....[sm=spinnyeyes.gif]

Are you sure it isn't TORX hardware? It looks more like a star than a hex. The WD's I have seen use a T10 or T5 Torx driver to crack them open.

Nope, this one uses hex, I was going to mess around with the motor, but I don't really need it anymore....Just thought it was kind of interesting, multiple parts on it had these weird hex sizes....maybe it's so you can't tamper with the technology. [&:]

I noticed that I can never find the right hex tool when I'm changing pinion gears [:@]
It seems like every gear has a different size grub screw! lol
