I don't recommend any of the 'FORCE' series engines. Not very good.

Get the Axial .28 if you want a 'decent' engine.

The first two you have pictured are the same motor, get the cheaper one. Like hunter said, the force motors, not so much.

thats a tough question! i'd have to say TA-03R TRF though, loaded with option parts on a unique chassis, what other 1/10 scale on road had front and rear mounted motors?

Hey there, I have a 1/8 truggy. My question is what engine would be a great replacement. Not over $135.00. These were some I found for under that price. Which one would be the best as far as torgue, jumps, small track conditions. If you know of a another one, please respond.
1. Hpi 4.6- $109
2. Axial .28- $99
3. Ofna force .28- $109
4. Ofna force .32- $135
I'm on a budget with this one.
Thank you
the axial is a good motor, but has had some issues in the past and is not the best in a truggy. now for the money i would look into this http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXESC3&P=0 i know a few guys that run them and are great, i got no clue why you guys are saying force engines are bad, there one of the strongest motor's out there, not in performance, no but in over all quality and lasting there great, good strong reliable mills. and just because its a .28 does not mean its better, any .21 - .26 will eat a .28, these trucks cars, etc... all run off rpm not hp, and do not believe the claimed hp rating. also this is a sick little motor that i know guys love very strong and a very good choice motor, http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/7458 its the same motor as the losi 427, but has a better carb. if it was me i would get the v2, cause i know what it can do, and would be better for shot track, the aixal would probably be eaten alive on a shot track.

so my vote ditch all of them and get the v2, go to youtube and look for some vids on it, there a sick little motor.

Yeah that's unique for sure!

I can't decide between my WW 2 and my old reliable Savage 25.

Hay guys, I have been looking at the TXT more and more, and the more I look at it, the more I want it.

So here is what I was thinking, since I want 4WS, but not all the time, I am planning on using [link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXSNP1**&P=0]this[/link] (Tell me if the link works.) radio, and setting it up like this

Ch.1 ESC

Ch.2 front steering

Ch. 3 rear steer.

Does this sound like a good idea?

Why not use a Futaba 3PM instead?

not officially.. though people have done the twin motor thing, using the front motor case off a TA-03F and the rear off a TA-03R..

so actually four versions of chassis.. TA-03F, TA-03F/S, TA-03R, TA-03R/S

Because the on the 3PM the 3ed. channel is only 2 position switch, I need one that is 3 positions, or variable like the stick. Also I like the stick radio bedder the the pistol grip radio.
