i'd use it on snow given the chance, but due to the body being quite low, i'm limited to 1-2cm of the stuff.

I never quite understand the throttle return spring deal.. so it has to be strong enough to turn the servo when servo is not powered, right? So that has to be pretty strong, right? So does that burn up the servo somehow because it is putting on a load when it is turning the throttle?
Or that's not a big deal?!

RE: THE LOUNGE 2
it takes about 1/4-1/3 the power "spring tq" to move the servo when a loss of power happens so if its a 50 oz servo you need a 20 oz spring.. opening the throttle takes no power whatsoever the power of the servo is used when your on the brakes really and the spring is inactive at that time so no .. your not gonna smoke out the servo and its cheap insurance its just when a failsafe is active loss of signal kinda stuff your golden but a dead battery or in my case faulty connection then a failsafe is pretty useless a spring is a nitros failsafe when power is lost is all
ya nick its 4wd and yup its a quick lil bugger for 169$ it was worth every penny like i said it hit that stump REALLY hard 40mph 5lb truck thats like 200lb of impact and all it broke was an a arm and a lower shock loop " i have spares of those so i just put one one" 3$ for a pair of A arms and im back in business im throughly impressed with the strength of this lil bugger ive seen lesser vehicles take half that kinda hit and come out in pieces.... lol kinda like tex said to me the other night.. the owner had to grab a dustpan to gather all the parts kinda stuff

What do you mean opening the throttle takes no power? Wouldn't the servo needs to go against the spring to open the throttle? (hence the whole idea about it pulling back on the throttle if servo is not active?)

He means that the throttl is very easy to open and takes very little torque.

RE: THE LOUNGE 2
yup just as nick said opening the throttle takes no tq so adding a spring doesnt add to the load its pretty much the only load lol...
