flying is going fine need to find a new place to fly though something up at the soccer fields hits me hard with the stryker.. lost it a couple times.. the second time IT throttled itself up and tried to screw itself into the ground at about 50 not to worry though all is well a lil super glue some epoxy and shes ready to rawr again

i called horizon and told them what happened and that it didnt happen like that "to my knowledge" with my other planes all of which have their own radio..

their sending out a new fuse and nose cone so thats a plus

Maybe you should put a Spektrum in it.

I have Spektrum in mine, had to upgrade the stock radio because it started glitching eventually, now it works great no glitching, problem free.

nah its not that it was the place i was at.. because it hits my hitec radio as well.. just need a different field no worries something up there is emitting 72 simple as that..ive had it happen before.. i used to fly at hillhoppers club in wheeling theres a spot up there about 6meters in diam thats dead .. if you fly a plane through it.. its not coming out

Hey guys, been a while Haven't done rc in a while but I can actually fly a 4ch heli now. That was until I had a glitch and pretty much destroyed it in the blink of an eye. Not really worth paying 30 in parts for a 70 dollar heli. I will say helis are alot more amusing than cars because they keep you on edge while cars, no matter how powerful get boring. I plan to get a nice 6ch in the future, probably a 400 but not for a while, I have other stuff to spend money on. I'm selling everything but a couple cars.

So let me vent for a bit here. Let me explain how difficult it can be selling a car on the RCU market place. I have an ad up and in the ad I say NO TRADES NO TRADES NO TRADES just like that. What's the first response I get? Hey will you trad ethis junk helicopter for your ad? Ok that's just the first. Next I said I have a lipo charger I can include with the car, but will NOT sell it separately. Second post, hey how much for the charger separately.

I said long ago that this is the worst places to sell anything. I did the exact same thing Auto and got the same responses you did. Specifically saying no trades seems to attract the morons.

i personally have had good luck selling on rcu.. i ignore the goofballs.. and talk to the real offers.. its just not as fast as ebay sometimes it takes a few listings to sell something

Here's a shot of the RC track...bout 5-6 hours of work? I made it with genuine radioactive dirt from Russia and North Korea! I have other pictures but that's the only one that shows the whole track...my stupid compact flash card is faulty. [EDIT:] The track still isn't finished, I still need to add jumps, obviously, and I need to take the excess material out (you may see random mounts of dirt laying around).



Here's a shot of the smoky sunset...the smoke cleared somewhat but the sky is still gray, at least I can see the hill next to my house now...



Here's the wheels I picked up for the Challenger yesterday, the gas money I spent to go get them cost more than the wheels themselves ha! They were a few hours from me..
I have a little problem though - I polished the three, but somebody took a wire brush to one of them. I'm not sure if they are chromed or polished, I think they are aluminum but every online claims they are "alloy". If it's chromed I'm shot, and will have to get a new one or have it re-plated, if it's polished I may be able to buff it out...



And here's a shot of the almost completed King Hauler...I'ma just settle it with being a peterbilt, since I already painted it 3 times I don't wanna shave off the Peterbilt traits and put some styrene on the hoot...

Retrofitted a couple of my potato guns...still can't get the big one to work like it used to/is supposed to. The little one still out-fires the large one at an average of 500-600 feet with a properly packed potato. It also has much more of a shockwave and kick to it - but the big one can put a potato through 3/4" plywood or snap a 8 foot 2x4 in half.



My friend keeps on dropping off random stuff at my house haha, this is one of the three or four piles he's made around my yard.



Here's the UPS truck I'm working on...I'm still not sure what I'll use for the UPS detail.
