my front wheel got stuck, with a locked front diff, and i kept trying to move, and i think that the brushes melted, now it is shagged, and the propshaft is soo tight to move now
i need a new silver can now :P, but for $4 more (rcmart prices), i think i will get a black can.
My home-made undercowl worked a treat, shame loads of mud got into the chassis due to having no shell :P

Why do you have a locked front diff?! I don't think I'd run that setup even for drifting..

RE: THE LOUNGE 2
hope you have at least the rear diff locked? the Touareg is quite entertaining on the snow with the rear locked! i think it'd struggle on snow with open diffs.

Eman, your TA-05R looks great!! That paint job really turned out well.. (unlike typical LB quality, i.e., just spray can it once and ready to run, ha!!)
Looks awesome!
If you got your choice of picking a RC, what would be next for you?! (say you are granted a wish from Santa.. $$$ is no object..)

I dunno man, tough question. Offroad for sure - I've love a 4WD truck. E-Savage maybe, but the TXT looks sweet too. Problem is, I also love that Durga, and even the other Tamiya 2WD buggy that's new with the shiny blue options (d'oh, forgot the name).
4WD truck would be way more versitile for me, though.
Of course, now that Blizzard looks sweet.
So, my answer is....I don't know! [&:]

Tex - your BL Savage sounds exellent. Can't wait to see the vids! Also good to hear positive things about the Elite cells. From what little I've read, they seem pretty solid. (Gotta be better than the seemingly fragile IBs, anyway). I'm still considering an Elite 6-cell SXS pack for the TA05 (although the GP3300 stick is doing well).
LB - yeah, 7700 would be interesting in a TC, but the 5700 is all I need man. I need to find more open space to run! LOL
To all - here are some pics of the TA05-R (finally!), with decent quality. These are ones with the body on - next post will have the body off. Also, some Pede pics to come in the next post or two (I haven't taken any of that truck in a long time!)
Enjoy.
...and oh yeah - I can't wait to get the wing on that RX-8 body when it finally gets here!
