Just got a pair of used foams $14 for a set of 4. Assuming they are in decent shape did I get a good deal?
Judging by the pictures they look fine.

On another note, I finally shrink wrapped my 7 cell SxS hump pack for the Pede. Wow, what a ghetto job I did on that one. No pics shall be presented here, due to deeply felt shame. [&:]
I also took the Titan out of the Pede (it was running poorly - just getting weaker, even with the brand new pack), put the Chameleon2 19T in it, using Deans. Seems stronger already - can't wait to get it out on the road! Tomorrow, perhaps.

Yeah I was hoping it could help me control my F103GT. That's cool about your Stampede, 7 cells really wake that thing up.

7 cells is nice compared to six. I'm half-tempted to get one of those 8 cell Tenergy packs and slap it in, see what it does. Some day....too many projects, too little funding right now.

From what I hear, foams are the way to go for traction. Never ran 'em myself, but never had an onroad car (until this TA-05 I'm still trying to finish building - but I'll start with x pattern belted radials for that first).

Final primer on the frame this evening, just going to let it harden up (dry out for about 24hrs) give it a light sanding in a few places... a spray on the color!

Here's one just for fun.... This guy laid down this entire paint scheme (including clear coat) in 3.5hrs.
(this picture doesn't show the clearcoat on the hull... but dang!)

Luke, the ball diff is in the packet, you will spot it easily, i'm not bothering with a build thread, people have beat me to it, ordered a Tamiya 'lightly tuned' yesterday, not bad for 23$ (£12 including shipping) it will go in the F-150, monster torque baby!
