I don't expect much return in this thread, but hopefully someone out there will comment. Don't torch me for bringing up soaps! 
For myself, I am only attached to General Hospital, but discussion of any serial is welcome, US or otherwise.

Journeyman, Desperate Housewives, Survivor (ew) CSI (the Vegas show) are my favorites for prime time.
But GH has to have some following here somewhere!

How I Met Your Mother and Prison Break. Sadly they are on the same nights so I have been watching DVD seasons of How I Met Your Mother. Prison Break went way downhill this season and of course they left some openings for a Season 4. I don't think I'll be watching it.
