RE: Photography - Post your best pictures
I caught this one when I was in Richmond, Va for my sisters wedding. I had my camera and stuff in the car as I was coming into town during some storms.

Thanks TNB. It looks like you have lots of photo ops living in Vegas. I don't think I'd be able to get any work done there.

Thanks. Its a new camera to my collection and a bit of a down grade, but it seems to be pretty good.
I normally use a D40, but wanted something that my wife could use too, so I picked up a Fuji S9100, and I'm very impressed with it. I will have some more pics from both camera later on.

Fuji makes a decent camera. I used to have a Fuji S5000, and I've pulled off some decent shots with that thing. Here one I took with the S5000.

That is a nice pic. This is the first Fuji I have owned, and I really like the fact that I can use it as a p&s, or switch to manual and adjust what I want..plus it has a video setting that my wife really likes cause she can take video of our daughter. and with 9 mp it takes some very clear pictures with minimal adjustment to the settings.
The only thing I dont like is that its a fixed lense, but I'm going to order some attachment lenses for it in a few days and really start taking pictures with it.

Opps............I just realized that I had already posted that pic a few pages back. Oh well. Anyhow, my main gripe with mine was that the longest you could keep the shutter open was 2 seconds. But fixed lens had a heck of a zoom.

I dug out my ol' Sony P&S and after I clicked the shutter, I waited, and waited, and waited some more. I'd actually forgotten how slow the shutter was though I have used a P&S a time or two for the tourists who stop and ask to have their photo taken.

True. I never had good luck with the action or rc shots with the P&S......actually the reason I got the D80 in the first place. I do keep a Canon SD870 in the glove box though....just in case.

I was able to capture a few R/C action shots with my ol' Sony P&S, but I doubt if I could with the new iPhone I received last Friday. The phone itself is cool, but I haven't even tried downloading the noisy low-level lighting photos I took the other night.

Some interesting skies with the storm around,
I didn't edit this one properly since i'm at work, no CS3. So I couldn't bring out the rich color that was there when I remember seeing it.

What do you all think of this pic? Its unedited and i had hoped that the peeps would just come out as shadows but you can see them... Also the trash can and shells on the ground take away from the photo IMO. Dose anyone like it or have thoughts on it???
