Unless someone lives where I live, they have no right to complain.

Regular is $3.75 a gallon, premium is $4.05 a gallon, and diesel is $4.09 a gallon. While driving through Santa Barbara last weekend, it was $4.15 for regular! [X(]

And I drive a '99 F-150 5.4L V8 that gets 12MPG. Can you say $85 fill up?

2.7L is not that big. my Dad has a 4.3L V6 (which turns out to be a V8 with 2 cylinders cut off)

Let me rephrase that. Unless someone in the US lives where I live, they have no right to complain.

Depends on where you live, how far away it is from the refineries/distribution centers, how many people are in the area etc etc. I live on the Central Coast, so we are basically midway between LA and San Francisco, and this isn't a metropolitan area, so gas here is freakishly expensive since the oil companies have to spend money to transport the fuel here, and there aren't a whole lot of people here to buy it, so they jack up the prices to compensate.

I remenber last year when my family was going on vacation, it was like 1.67 a gallon in some small town in Georgia, then when we passing through NY NY it was like 4.35 for regular!

Update on my post...

There's a station on the PCH (that's Pacific Coast Highway for you non-westerners) near Big Sur that charges $5.45 a gallon for regular! Only reason the gas station owner charges that much is because he can, since he's the only station in about 50 miles on the PCH. Plus, the town of 17 people that the station is located in depends on a generator for their power.

Right here, it's about $3.79 for regular and $4.25 for diesel.

Its about $3.60 here in Fairfield, same in Sonoma CA. I commute 60 miles round trip, thankfully my car has a 4 banger in it.

its 3.20 here and it keeps rising and falling.. i wish it would fall back to 1.50 or somthing and never go back up

Canada 1.22?!! thats crazy, in new york its $3.33 the lowest, but we use premium for the turbocharged 4 cylinder.
