well im in a little stuck on what to do with some cash i got, i REALLY REALLY REALLY want a traxxas slash because they are freeking awsome but i also want some ski gear for the up coming season and both are going to cost into the 150 200 range so what would you guys do?

Ski gear or save it.

Ski gear if your current stuff isnt up to snuff, otherwise save it. If you ask me the Slash is just another standard cheap RTR.

Is there a Slash spec racing class nearby? Those are a blast and really fun.

i would say save it, curb your "urge" to spend, save it up for something REALLY nice, never know what may come up..... just me[8D]

Get the ski gear, it will be much better for you and you will enjoy it more than any rc car

yeah thanks for all of your input i think i might do all three i've got a winter job coming up and i'm making steady money now so the ski gear is first and i will most likely have cash left over and i'll get the slash and then whatever is left over from that and my job will go into the bank. so thanks alot. oh and sheograth i would be hoping up the slash so it wouldn't just be a factory RTR (which out of the box, yes isn't that good)

Buy the RC unless there is a sale on Ski equipment right now or something. You have a few months left to save up until you can use your Ski equipment.

Yeah, I agree, save up and buy smething worthwhile. This is something we Americans dont have the discipline to do anymore. For example, say you save the $$$ and wind up with about $1000 later, you can by a 5th scale fulie!

Yeah, save for a Baja 5T or 4x4 FG, then you'll see what R/C is all about
