I'm not into that "my watch is bigger than my hand" trend that is going on.

Anything over 40mm is way too big for my taste probably because I only wear black dress shirts now (I say that as I sit here in my black hawaiian shirt )

I can appreciate that sentiment. Along with my wrists, my hands are also small so anything with decent functionality is going to look sizeable.

Like this, which I wear to work:

I hope so! There are no mid-sized or ladies-style watches in my collection [:-]

There are a lot of watches I'd like to have, but there's different priority in life now.. (cough, RC, cough..) So probably no new watches for me anytime soon..

I used to have a Ren & Stimpy watch back in the early 90's along with the farting Stimpy, calender and what ever else people gave me since I was watching it pre-MTV

I put a Breitling Bentley chrono on my wrist at a jewelry store in Lahaina last year, and the sales chick said I needed to carry a dumbell in my other hand to wear it evenly. 48mm and about 210g on a strap, if I remember correctly.

I just got the RLT Watch Co. - Automatic "One handed Watch" RLT-13 today.

I'm waiting for a metal bracelet to come in and then I will get some pictures of it. So until then, here is a stock photo

Nice and simple. A single hand is such a clean and uncluttered look. Reminds me of the Yes Watch:

I've seen 24-Hour watches (1 to 24 instead of 1 to 12 on the dial) and that is insane.

The watch has a clear back so I am able to see stuff working away but I know what you mean about wanting a second hand [:@]

Here: http://www.yeswatch.com/

I had one for half a year or so. Very cool the way it can display sunrise/sunset information as well as moonphases.

Looks like Rolex is joining in on the Big Watch movement... LOL! The new Seadweller Deepsea is 43mm.. (vs. the usual 40mm for Rolex Sub..)

I hate the writing on the inner ring, though.. (come on, do we need to spell out what feature it has, gas escape valve, ring lock system? Geez..)

I love the new dome crystal, though!

I think it is gonna be around $10k for one of these..

There's a saying in the watch world.. that Rolex is a GREAT $800 watch... LOL! Maybe that's too harsh.. I'd probably get one if they remove those writing and sell it for $3000.. (LOL, I wish!)
