I don't wear a watch. I work for a living, around high voltage, so watches are out for me. I use the clock that is hanging up in my office or on my cell phone depending where I'm at.[8D]

i can't wear a wrist watch (and i don't like'm anyways). they die after a couple hours, but when i take them off and set it down they go back on, if i put it right back on after setting it down it dies as soon as it hits my wrist. so i carry a pocket watch. made the body in wood shop back in high school (the wood is cocobolo). the face and chain i had to buy. total cost, 13 bucks!

I haven't worn (or carried) a watch in over two years. At first it was because I just got tired of wearing one. Now it's because the medical career I'm persuing has too much chance of getting blood and body fluids on it. I now depend on wall clocks and my cell phone for the time.

I wear one when I'm working in the gallery since its too formal of a place to pull out a cell phone, but if I'm not there then I just use my phone.

I dont mean to offend anyone but I find it stupid to pay $1000-$100000 For a watch?

Stupid? Or would it be preferable to state that it is not for you? That might come across a bit better.

For myself, I would have no problem paying many thousands for a timepiece, provided I could afford it without interfering with my budget. My current collection cost me roughly $4500, and one of them was $2400.

It is all a matter of taste.

I never said they fit very well. I just like the functionality - it supports my tech side.
