I HATE THIS CAR THERE ARE ALOT IN JAMAICA AND THEY ALWAYS BREAKING DOWN THE ROAD AND THE TAXI MEN THAT DRIVE THEM EITHER CUT U OFF OR THEY DRIVE ON THE SIDE WALK

personally i dont like hybrids in gerneral whats gonna happen to all the regular cars??

Not sure, but for the mean time, all gas/diesel cars will remain. But sooner or later gas-hybrids will become mainstream as the cost of making the motors to be mated to the engines become cheaper and better batts become available.

I also have no doubt that the gas-hybrids will yield to diesel-hybrids. A VW Diesel Jetta actually makes the SAME MPG as the Prius. So, mating a smaller diesel engine to a motor, say an AC motor, will easily break 100MPG.

Then there are the all-electrics. Once batts become advanced enough to hold large capacities of charges, such that electrics will have their ranges increased to 500+ miles on a single charge, all electrics WILL replace virtually all combustion engines.

Combustion engines will remain in Hybrid form, I can gaurantee that, for at least a good while. Very large trucks and cargo movers will use that format. Diesel trains, for example, have been diesel-electric hybrid ever since they replaced steam locomotives. Though diesel trains do not have a battery system and of course burn diesel instead of gasolines, they are otherwise exactly like gas-electric cars in using electric mortors to assist in traction (actually, trains do not have ANY form of mechanical assistamce from the engine to power the wheels on the tracks, they are strictly all elctric at the wheels, the engine only powers the alternators to power the traction motors)

I am surprised that diesel trucks have not gon the way of diesel trains: Diesel Electric! Do you know how much savings in fuel truck drivers will save in a diesel-electric drivetrain? Even the ability to pull much more weight, which means much more cargo! (Actually, Federal laws limit the maximum possible weights trucks can be without special permission)

Speaking of trucks and ugly cars, I personally hate the way cabover trucks look like! See this link for cabover trucks and you will see why conventional trucks look so much more beautiful

What's wrong with cabover? I kind of like them in box truck configurations like the T4 rally raid trucks for instance.

I'm not sure why cab-over trucks are not aesthetically pleasing to me. I guess when I was in Japan as a child, seeing just about evry cab-over truck in a tilting-cab design gave me that dislike.

At that time, I thought they looked absolutely stupid when the cab tilted as the truck turned.
Additionally, that cannot be any good if you have a mug of steam hot Joe in the cup-holder!

that was previously posted..I also dislike cab-over trucks...They're ugly, and they make maintenance SO much harder...

Yeah, that is a much cleaner looking truck, for a cab-over! LOL

Actually, for its color scheme, they should have painted it differently. If I had that truck, I would play cheap chiming-like bell music and cut a window on the side to sell icecream to the kids!

What channel were you watching it on? Versus only gave the trucks a minute of airtime (if they showed them at all) at the end of the show.

ya. metros arent prettyful but of the cars ive owned so far ya know i miss my little stick shift metro 3 banger the most? it had the potential to look alright if given attention. heres a pic of mine that i had messed with a bit.

The only Metro I'd ever own is one of those Rover Metro 6R4's. The Geo Metro's are just terrible.
