THE LOUNGE 3...

RE: THE LOUNGE 3...
Just got a CTEK 3300 to make sure that car batteries are well maintained..
http://www.ctek.com/EN-US/Buy-US-Charger.aspx
I drove my brother-in-laws' SUV yesterday (he is storing his car in my garage for now) and the crank was kind of weak.. (it only gets driven like once every 2 weeks.. at most.. !) So I think I should hook the battery up for some conditioning... !

Yeah, my RC chargers also do car battery, but I don't want to have that w/ the power supply in the garage all the time, you know.. so just figured that the 1:1 cars need their own dedicated charger / maintainer...
Hopefully it is just a one-time purchase.. will last me forever.. I hope!!

RE: THE LOUNGE 3...
Hey guys, its been a while since I posted on here but had a question and figured this was the best place to get an answer. I was at a flea market and a guy was walking around selling a original Tamiya wild one. At first I just looked and let him keep moving. Then I thought of the price he said, 20 bucks. So of course i found him and bought it but I wanted and opinion of how much it may be worth. Its worn of course but the motor works and since Ive never worked with the older stuff Im not sure if the bec or esc works. I will definitely clean it up whether I sell it or keep it but wanted an opinion of its worth. Oh yeah I didnt see any on ebay so not sure where else to get info.

Nice, be sure to post some pics in the Wild One thread!!
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_67..._1/key_/tm.htm
I am sure you can get 2x-3x (at least) of what you paid for easily.. probably $100+ if you find the right buyer!

Sounds good and will definitely post in the thread. Hey Lb should I just toss the electronics? Im not sure if they work but they seem so complicated compared to todays stuff. I wonder how it would do with brushless?[>:] Hmmmmm

If you are going to run it?!
Definitely toss it, put a basic ESC in it, much easier!! (and better!)
If you are going to sell it, why bother?! Maybe the collectors will want the period correct electronics.. so...

RE: THE LOUNGE 3...
thats the thing with vintage, one day you could sell it for $2000 and the next day maybe $30. seeing as how you didnt find any on ebay it might go for $200 if tagged correctly.

Blew another bearing today. Definitely time to get new ones. This one was destroyed.... Nothing left except a little ring.

Eman, I raced against a Schumacher sponsored driver this weekend. He beat me, but I still did pretty well.

Seriously - what was he driving?
