RE: THE LOUNGE 3...
I did not check the brushes - to be honest, I've never done that! Sounds like a reasonable explanation, though. What am I looking for when I pop the brushes out? Or when looking at the comm, for that matter?
If it is the brushes, I'm a tad surprised - I don't feel like I've run the RZ THAT much yet (but maybe I have...?). If that's the case, then +1 for BL I suppose.

RE: THE LOUNGE 3...
I already have too many jets ha ha. Maybe if I ground one I'll pick this one up.
Someday flying 2 feet off the ground fill throttle in the darker evening on windy days will catch up to me.

Being renovated.... (from 7 years ago, brushed motor and 1800 7 cell nicad being upgraded to lipo brushless 4 cell setup.)

RE: THE LOUNGE 3...
I'm not feeling the Mirage 2000, but love the Me262. Is the one below the Me262 a Starfighter? (Forget some of the names of those early US jets....)

RE: THE LOUNGE 3...
Yep The starfighter, that one right now is cut up sp I can replace the electronics.
I should get on the Me262, just am trying to figure out a power setup, EDF jets draw so much current with hardly any battery room sometimes you NEED 30C batteries, and the fact that this has 2 motors, I think I am in trouble . I'll figure it out.

RE: THE LOUNGE 3...
Sounds like it is the problem w/ the motor... ?!How many runs do you have on it?!
ORIGINAL: Eman77
So, something's up with my Tamiya RZ motor I have in the DT02. Either it's going wiggy, or my TEU-101BK ESC (which isn't rated to 23T anyway) has finally refused to cooperate further after a 1/2 dozen runs without issue.
It's odd - when I first turn on, I can sometimes get it to go FWD/REV, but then it just stops dead. No motor. Steering is fine. I took out the spur gear, same thing with the motor running w/no load. Put in a different (stocker) motor, it runs just fine.
I took the RZ motor out, hosed it down with motor cleaner (it was due anyway), sat it to dry. Will give a try tonight....seems like a weird thing to happen out of nowhere (seemingly). If the cleaning does not help, I figure something's wrong with the motor, or the ESC suddenly decided not to work with motors with fewer turns than it's rated for. LOL

RE: THE LOUNGE 3...
Cool.. so you can plug the bottle to the wall outlet and recharge them to full when the nitro is all used up, right??
ORIGINAL: moron88
i finally got a new rc! i whent nitro because fuel is cheaper than batteries. i got a traxxas nitro sport. im not following the traxxas break in too much because it is too weird, it says to keep the engine running but i had to stop because i didnt want to over heat it. pics sooon.

RE: THE LOUNGE 3...
Lol, you should go see sheograth and raid his 1/5th collection and then give it to me. As Longhair would have said "spreading the wealth"
