I downloaded gimp image editor, its like a knockoff photoshop. I hate it!!! Whats a better, or iesier photo editing software program i can download for free? Thanks.

The Gimp isn't bad at all for a free program... considering the cost of others you can't really complain.

If you want a good one - pay for it.

Ok im making a logo for a rc club im going to start with a few friends. I want to take a picture of my rc and take just the outline of the car i have done that, but how do i take it and put it behinf lettering???? Im confused and getting mad. Everytime i do something i just get more and more mad.

There are mods to make gimp look exactly like photoshop. It does everything that photoshop does.

Gimp is amazing. Any program you will actually have to sit down and LEARN.

Photoshop won't be any easier.

I have both Gimp and CS3

I rather work with CS3, mainly because I know it much better and its UI is much cleaner and easier to work with.

I use GIMP on my work PC, it takes less to run it and does almost what CS3, just not as easy. Working with layers in GIMP I find is much harder. CS3 does a much better job of organizing all the layers and masks and showing you what you have going on.
