Default Laugh? I nearly cried!

So yeh, I was doing my regular bi-annual lamborghini price check (seriously, I WILL own one some day, don't know when, but some day)... And I came across this and actually laughed out loud.

[link=http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2009-Lamborghini-Murcielago-Lp640-Replica_W0QQitemZ180366495442QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS _Cars_Trucks?hash=item29feae4ed2&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=65%3A3%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1309]click me for a jolly good laugh.[/link]

Here's the real deal for a comparison...

Someone should email the seller a really cutting question like... 'since it's half scale, is it radio controlled?' lol. Post up the response if you do.

You can get a second hand Gallardo for about $80k, and a second hand Ferrari 550 Maranello for about the same. Hopefully it won't be too long before I can afford such a car (they'll be down to around $50k by then), I'm aiming for before 40 (8 years time).

Imagine, if you were on the highway in your Pontighini Solstialago, and REAL LP 640 rolled up next to you making you look like it's ugly baby brother, and you turn round to see the driver's pointing you out to his hot girlfriend, laughing hard. I'd probably shoot myself on the spot.

I guess I'm confused. Half the size? are you talking litteraly half the size? cause I read that it is 81 inches wide. is the real deal 162 inches wide? I hop not or the real lambo won't even fit on an american road.

Or by half size were you talking about performance cause at 325 hp I can accept that claim of half size

Just because people have money does not mean they have brains......thats my take on this stuff. I found that some of the dumbest are filthy rich. How is this? I know trust fund babies make up some of them but come on.

Sorry it's not creative but I just sent him that "Since it's half scale, is it radio controlled?" word for word. LOL

We will see if he even replies. If he does, I'll post.

No, you're right, I'm exaggerating, it's not 'half' the size, but the Murcielago is a HUGE car, if you've seen one up close you'll know what I mean, this Solstialago is noticably smaller.

I honestly prefer a Gallardo over the 4000ibs Murciélago. The Murc IS more powerful but weights ahelluva lot more then the Gallar

Side Note:
Ferrari's logo= Prancing house [sm=angel_smile.gif]
Lamborghini's logo= Charging Bull [sm=punching.gif]

PS..... Good luck with the Lambo Foxy... better soup up the Honda and race for Pinks [sm=lol.gif]

It's a very difficult decision for me. If I had $80k, would I get a second hand Gallardo, or a second hand Ferrari 550. For performance, it would have to be the Gallardo, even though the Ferrari has more power, the Gallardo would be slightly better on the track, not because of the AWD, but because the 550 is a big GT cruiser. However, for style points, it's hard to beat rolling up in a Maranello. I even like the sound of it, 'Hey, what do you drive bud?', 'Actually I drive a Ferrari 550 Maranello, you know, like Will Smith in Bad Boys 2!' The Gallardo is somehow more 'common'.

If I won the lottery however, a brand new LP670 straight off the showroom floor, no doubt about it, there is NO CAR I want more than a Murcielago.

Even the owner of a local tuner shop (now closed because the owner had a million dollar fine on drug charges) had a Murciélago. And a 900 and something horsepower Supra... and 900hp Evo.

Can you actually get these cars off of the showroom? I though you had to order them.
