Just make sure if you get one that is bread to be a pet, lots of people sell them and do not advertise that, You get one bread for the fur, they are MEAN. My uncle used to breed/raise/sell chilla's, made lots of money but you could never stick your finger in the cages lol.

Just snapped a pic during a 'cute' moment yesterday. Had to take him to the Vet today for his annual jabs. He saw that cat carrier come out of storage this morning and just started to FREAK! Tail got all puffy every time he looked at it, running around like he was posessed. He actually went face first at full tilt into the glass balcony door. He doesn't like going to the Vet.

been there, done that, chinchillas are fun to look at at the pet store, but really crappy pets, boring, antisocial, messy.

Im a cat and reptile guy, I tolerate dogs, but really don't like them at all.

I'm getting a Argentine black and white tegu soon its the most intelligent reptile known, easy to care for, love attention and can grow 3 feet in a year (max is 3.5-4.5ft)
