Probably not much, I'd imagine more than an iPhone but less than a decent Apple notebook. Seems like an awesome note taking device for meetings and such.

you can get a micro note book for $250 and 60GB, yes its not as hip and cool, but its functional and versatile
wait a year, they will have ipad gen two and price on the "old" one will drop like a lead balloon
i guess if you like tech so much and could afford one more power to ya.

iDon't know, iDon't think iCare much for this thing. iCould buy a far better used laptop for $500 (ThunderbirdJunkie bought the laptop he has now NEW on clearance from BestBuy for a hair over $500), and iWouldn't look like a total toolbag. What's the point of this thing? iThink it's just another Steve Jobs mind control device that serves no real purpose.

Looks sick! Although I would never buy one for that price. # 1 ATT wants a 500 dollar down payment..... Forget that. There is no way. Plus another 600 plus a 50-100 dollar monthly plan... Count me out.

soon, everything will have a i in front of everything, actually i read that kraft in Au took Vegemite, one of the countries most popular spread (which is agressivly salty but good once you eat it alot) and thought about naming it "isnack"!! thats like Americans calling coca-cola "idrink"

Who would spend $800 on an oversized iPod touch? I'de rather take a normal touch, keep the other $500, and I would be able to take it with me anywhere I go. You try taking an iPad to school in your pocket...Good luck. I have to admit, it still looks pretty awesome. But..$500 for the cheapest one...No thanks.
