In my younger days I dreamed of flying my plastic models, now I can. The picture gives you the general idea. This started in the days before lipos and the new micro equipment. I used 1/16" plastic on one of several different size vacuum tables and the kitchen oven. I have pictures of the B-29 in the air. Got good scale detail for little time.
Found the B-29. The B-29 was not vacuum formed because the plastic kit was built, it is rigid pink foam made on my Hot wire "Band saw" 1 to 1 with the plastic kit. The motors are from the old B-2 arf.
