Default Do Foam Profile's count?

I just scratch built (sounds cooler if I say "scratch" v.s. "cut out of a piece of foam with a pattern taped to it" ) a foam profile "Foamtana". It's a Razor powered electric.

Can I belong to the Profile Brotherhood too????

What kind of initiation do I need to do?

You're Dern straight! It's all a state of mind anyway. The Profile Brotherhood isn't really about profiles. It's about the need to whip the sky up into a frothy mix of planes. It's also about enjoying the company of good natured guys that will stay up an extra 3 hours or spend an extra buck to make a plane do what it shouldn't....or more importantly, to a make a plane do what it should. It's about function over style. All that to say, I FLY A PIGI (it's foam)!

Better yet, drive halfway across the country so your buddies can fly your $200 foam profile (that you haven't even started, but just know you'll have finished since you have now shot your mouth off on the internet for everybody to see!!)

Hi Mike,
Just got done reading Trident and Foamtana thread that Chuck and Karl lead me to. Sounds like everyone is having a blast with them.
Sounds like you've got a great setup!
What rpm are you getting out of your Razor?

Hey Don,

Haven't tached it yet. My tach's batteries died and I found out it uses 4 watch type batteries that cost $3 a piece. I can get a new tach for about the same price, so I'm "sans" tach right now.

I'm ordering some LiPo's as soon as I figure out how to charge them without buying another charger . I already have 3 chargers. Aerographix (RCU member name) is bringing a charger from Germany into the US that looks very nice. Until then the NiMh's work just fine.

The Razor is awesome. You'll love this set up if you build it!

Yes, I'll have to get a Razer!!

I finished and flew the Mini BeeGee today!
I was flying around my wifes garden, in and around the miniature apple trees, it was a total blast!
I'm definitely hooked on parkflyers!

Don
