Thise one is tailspnr's..I think he's going with the Himax 2015 4100. But if it was mine I'd use the same motor
And it's Depron..

Hey Woody! Long time.. [8D]

Not sure..it's top secret (not my plane..I just build 'em!) but I'm sure tailspnr will post some pics when he gets it. Stay tuned!

ORIGINAL: TERMAGATOR

LOOK at the size of dim dare AILERONS!!!!
Them ain't your daddy's ailerons! If you look closely in the second pic, you can see the Trident with modified ailerons under the Yak. I liked the way the Trident flew so much better with dem dare bigguns, I made the Yak ailerons the same size (basically..) And the size of what was left of the Trident wing after I cut 1 1/2" off the hinge line is almost identical to the Yak wing. So they have a very similar wing/aileron ratio. Ought to be right perky

Oh man...the suspense is killing me. I've been running my motor and this thing is gonna be awsome.

Yeah, Ive got a Himax 2015-4100, GWS w/ D gearing and 1260 prop going on the plane. Also got the Berg5, picco bb's, phoenix 25 and E-Tec 1200 3S lipo's. And just to think......two weeks ago I was asking "so....what are lipo's anyway?"

I think I may have found us Louisville guys an indoor facility to fly in as well. This place may be available to us several times a week too. Bye bye winter blues

Hopefully we will have a chance to check out this place next week. If its big enough and available on the weekends we could possibly have a winter indoor Pro-Bro!!!!

Is that an I-beam spar? Will that stop the twisting? Looking for tips before I build a new one.

Yep..the I beam is a lot more rigid than the tube, but not as crash resistant. A LOT more work than the tube...but it's the stiffest in the air. I guess everything is a trade off [8D]

Sharpies....

Tim Harts plans from Foamy Factory.

The yellow got a little screwed up on one side of the fuse. Seems as though Sharpies and Pro-Bond dont mix.

Yeah Chuck.....quit being hard on 'ol Spnr man. Trust me....Im hard enough on myself. I went through 3 spur gears today. I bet if we held a full day indoor pro-bro somewhere it would cause GWS' stock prices to go up by $10 per share.

So you mean to tell me that my plane will like that huh? I tell you Wayne, thats a really sweet looking plane.

Im gonna have to save my OS painted Yak for very special occasions.......real special occasions. My E-Sledge only has 2 real days of flying on it and its looking pretty rough. But d@*! flying these planes are fun. Got to be the best TR practice you could ask for.

Hey did I mention.....that Yak looks good!
