Default Prop hanging in FMS ?

Hi I have just installed the FMS simulator and downloaded the profiles from a site which was posted in a thread here a few days ago. The profiles look and fly great but can not prop hang properly. Do you think the physics in the FMS program dont allow such 3D stunts?

Yes the planes can prop hang, its not super realistic like all sims but it can do it. It can 3d, but its still not super realistic either. It will help get the right stick movements and idea behind it all.
and for a free sim, you can't beat it.

I dunno....I've tried and tried. Can't get anything to hover, harrier or a few other 3D moves.

If anyone can....do tell.

FMS is definatly not realistic. Anything that requires very little air speed and/or lots of rudder work won't do very well. But for free you can't really knock it! I can harrier pretty well, again rudder gets weird, and it really does a fine KE if you don't go too slow. But my real planes are sure better!!!

Thanks for the replies ! I have just come down from our field and after 2 days doing a knife edge loop with the FMS i tried it out at the field with the GREAT OMP Edge 540. I was doing KE loops like i was doing them all my life !!!, so i can say its a great sim but not so good for those particular 3d manouevers. Said this, you can still have an idea of stick movements even though prop hangs dont perform well on the sim.

For a free program its great. I have heard the Ikarius is cool but I wont go into this in this section of the forum.
