Default Help

Hey all,
I'm justa thinking of getting a profile to throw around, learn a bit, and have fun. I just want to know which is the best. I don't mind kit or ARTF, but I don't want to spend a bucketload of dosh, ie nothing over $150 or so. I have an irvine 53 and an OS 46FX. I also wouldn't mind plans if anyone has some. SO in short, I just want something small with a 'I don't care if I crash it cause its so damn cheap so I'll throw it around and have fun' profile.
Thanks.
(PS I like that Extreme flight Edge!)

If you like the Edge then get the original Edge 540 profile from OMP. It's been proven as one of the top dogs for years now and it won't break your pocket book on price either. You do have to build the kit but cost of kit, hardware, and covering will still be much less than the ARF.

I agree with the OMP 540 FF. It's a great airplane and is a real crowd pleaser. I like mine so much that I'm going to build another for a spare...just in case!!

Well that question is kinda hard to answer. If you want to learn 3D basics (emphasis on basics) then I would highly recomend a SPA3DT, not much to look at but DURABLE and stable for learning 3D. Now for kits you have your choice of, and these are all loved and proven,

1. [link=http://Morrishobbies.com]Sledge 540[/link]
2. [link=http://ohiomodelplanes.com]OMP edge 540[/link]
3. [link=http://swanyshouse.com]Burrito[/link]
4. [link=http://spadtothebone.com]SPA3DT[/link]
5. [link=http://ohiomodelplanes.com]OMP YAK[/link]

There are a few more out there but these you can't go wrong with.
P.S. I have not flown the burrito, and the YAK is soon to be shipped so I cannot vouch for those personaly, but there are many that will back the burrito, and OMP has awesome planes so the YAK is almost a sure bet.

Dapped if you do that and if you decide to buy another, make sure you try the 47" Yak instead. Why have 2 of the same when you can have both. Just an FYI.
