Just finished my OMP Edge540P
Took seven days to complete. I put in a 46fx and I am just waiting for props to come (none of the LHS had any 3D props in stock. I'm tempted to fly it with the 11x7 I have.....not the right prop I know...

you can fly it with 11x7 no problem, especially if it's a new engine it's better for it. just take it up a little higher if you want to 3D it. it will do it with that prop, not the best, but you'll get the idea.

Hey Scole I just moved to Penfield so I may join the RAMS, I fly at RCCR fields and at north Hampton. I may go try it with the 11x7 today!
Boogie.....less is better especialy when I have to cover the thing myself.....mabey I'll add some more stickers!LOL
Oh yeah the color is transparent violet and a stripe of cub yellow!

Oh yea it is the 65" yak. I guess I was thinking 40 size since we were on the FF540P topic. Damn cool color scheme, that's for sure! Now see if QQ can sign the wings!

And to get back to the topic...my edge, I flew it today...what fun, flat spins, knife edge loops,blinding fast roll rate, hangs on the prop real nice, even with the 11x7 prop! Lands slow and easy,..got to love that tetherite landing gear, mabey not as nice as graphite but who cares, it's still alot better than aluminium!
Now to get its big brother GS540 together!

Yes QQ will be at the XFC, he's a top contender! We will be there as well......well most of the OMP crowd. Myself and my son Forrest will be hanging out with the Bros at Jeff Williams meet. Probably blow up there Sunday for the finals.
