Default Rascal W/LA46

I bought a Rascal from my buddy who had a OS 48 4c in it. I put a OS LA46 2c in and turned the carb 180 degrees so I could use the same throttle cable on the right side. The plane flys great but engine will not idle especially in a nose down attitude. I have adjusted the air bleed screw and but an idle bar glow plug in. Still no good idle. Is it because the carb is turned 180 degrees?

it shouldn't make a difference.
is it broken in?
how did you adjust the airbleed screw.. turn it out for more air less fuel and in for less air more fuel
if it is running fine untill nose down then it is rich so turn the airbleed out.
how low of an idle are you trying to get? maybe your just need to keep the rpm's up more

Spastic, The 46 is broke in.Yesterday I replaced that engine with a smooth running OS La 40. Same problem, dies on final approach to landing. Never had this problem before with these two motors. And yes I adjusted the airbleed screw out 1/2 turn at a time.I had it almost falling out. In the Rascal the engine is inverted. This and the carb turned 180 degrees is not working.I will make a fix by moving throttle linkage to the other side and turning carb forward.
Thanks for your help Don
