I'm for ARCs personally. Jim D has lots of good points!! But Dion (bad boy) has points too. The shipping never crossed my mind.

So, anybody save those pics before they were deleted?

If the ARC shipping tests don't work out, perhaps a white or maybe a couple of versions in neutral colors that would allow custom trimming would work.

FWIW

I would personally want mine covered at least in a base color like white or yellow etc. If I have to go to all the trouble to cover it I might as well build it. covering is the part I dislike

Exactly. The framing is not that bad. If you're gonna take it 90% by ARC'ing it, got the distance and just make it an ARF.

As damaged as some ARFs have arrived on my doorstep by the lovely brown truck, I can just imagine the carnage that would arrive if it was an ARC.

The Big Brown Truck left a whole shipment of balsawood boxes in front of my garage last month.....in the rain. Some of them just ain't too smart. We may give in after this weekend and post some prelim pics but there's still much work to do on my part. I know, I'm just the stubborn engineer!

Maybe what Bandito said then. Offer a solid yellow and solid white? H9 did three base colors with the old 73 inch Cap once, they went like hot cakes.

We can certainly look into single color ARF's. I'm sure the factory certainly would not mind. However our cost will probably remain the same either way.
