Default VMAR Easy 3D

I was wondering if anyone has any experience the VMAR Easy 3D? I know VMAR's rep is not the best, but it is a nice looking plane with a great price.

I called Vmar last week to find out the availibility.
Available mid september. It's probably why nobody
have some experience.

I had the same thread few weeks and nobody answer.

We need some patience.

Thanks

Phil

Thanks. A late delivery date is very common.

I bought one of the new VMAR Easy 3Ds and had my maiden flight today. I was impressed with the construction and covering, especially since VMAR has not had the best reputation in the past. I used a OS46FX in it. The plane showed no bad tendencies during flight, slowed to a crawl, no tip stall. It's a light plane so it will get bounced around if there is much turbulence.

The instructions were very good. The fuselage is narrow which does not leave much options for securing the battery and receiver. I stacked the battery and receiver directly behind the tank. If I had to complain about something it would be that the wing does not snug up tightly to the fuse. I added a lock washer to the nut that secures the wing to the fuse and didn't see any issues with holding the wing. A snug fit would "look" better. I mounted the switch on the access hatch on the bottom, but I'm not crazy about that location, just no room on the side of the fuse.

I didn't try any 3D stuff, just two quick flights before it got too dark. A nice flying plane. :-)

I never did buy the Easy 3D myself. Went with a UCanDo
