Well, it wasn't really that quick, but it shoulda been. Typical built up balsa wing, no sheeting. Fuse, tail, and ailerons of 6mm depron. 1/4" aluminum/carbon fiber spar down the center of the fuse.
Mega 16/15/4 geared 3:1
3S 2600 Polyquest
APC 12x6E Prop
hs-55 servos on ailerons and elevator
hs-81mg on rudder.
18A WOT
27 oz AUW
Flies great. In spite of huge gusty winds today I was able to hover, knife edge, etc. Unlimited vertical. For better pull-out from hover I plan to gear it to 2.6:1 next time.

I have a Schultze 6-330d that I used. I charge the 2600 at the same rate as my more numerous 1200's (ie 1.2Ah) just because I'm too lazy to change it. It's charging right now. I haven't cycled the pack or anything, I just recharge and fly, so I can't give any useful numbers on capacity. I should probably check it out.
Flew again today. Kept moving the CG back to get close to neutral inverted flight and it is flying better and better. Pretty strong too, ponked it nose first into the dirt and it just broke the prop adapter and cracked one leading edge.
Gonna switch to a 13" prop as soon as I get one.
