I am putting together a Seduction Wild-Style and thought you guys might like to see some pics and what I think of it.
It is all framed up, and building it has been extremely fun! All of the laser cutting is excellent, but I would almost want a little more wood holding the pieces in the frame, because the pieces were literately falling out when I picked up the laser cut stock.
Assembly was very unique, and sort of like putting one of those 3d puzzles together at times. Everything interlocks with everything else. The larger pieces on the frame of the tail were even pre-cut. Assembly was very quick, and very enjoyable.
It is so pretty, I am going to have to cover this in a clear covering, which makes me resort to monokote, I like ultracote better, but their clear isn't as clear as monokotes.
Weight as seen in the pic is 1lb 5oz.
Engine will be os 50-sx. Servos: JR 3121's in the airlerons, and DS811's for the tail.
I will post more pics when I am further along.

Thanks guys.
onewinglow: To get the kit go through http://www.singahobby.com
They are in singapore, but its cheapest to get it shipped through them. There is a whole line of seduction planes, I am sure you have seen posts about the others (freestyle, fun fly, demonstrator, etc...)
This is the link right to the wildstyle:
http://www.singahobby.com/wildstyle.html
Email or call them, they are very friendly, and they will quote you a price, but it will be in SINGAPORE dollars (usually they quote about S$266) You have to convert that to US dollars. Mine was about $145 shipped. And they get it to you quick. Mine took 10 days from when I ordered it, and I live on the east coast. (The packages arrive in the US from singapore on the west coast)

PaulSwany: Yea I was at the hobby store today and was looking at the yellow (he only had yellow) and he claimed it was the same stuff as on the h9 ultra-stick, which is dead clear. Now, have they fixed their problem with the clears (you use to be able to see the glue on the covering) ie, are all ultracote clears, nice and clear now, no matter what the color? If so, I will get the ultracote version. (would rather have a different color then yellow)
Thanks!

Here is the pic of the final plane. It's nose heavy right now, working on how to correct it without adding weight if I can. I did end up covering it in ultracote clear red, and it is very clear. Very nice stuff. Weight comes to 3lbs 14oz. Hope to be flying it very soon. Powered by an OS 50SX. JR DS811's on the tail and JR 3121's on the airlerons. Hitec 225BB on the throttle.

I used red ultracote on my Seduction FS, looks great and it is very clear. The only complaint I have is that it was difficult to cut. Even with new blades. I use one of those Harry Higely trim tools and it would not cut it consistently like regular ultracoat (strange). Did anyone else have the same problem?

I too use these exclusively. The Harry Higely trim tool is made for these, and I use a wallpaper knife to cut all my balsa. Found the knife at Home Depot for around $2.00. It has a big wooden handle, and it lets you turn the blade around when you need to store it so that the blade will not cut anything.

It seems the other way around for me. I dont have one of those hary Higley tools, just cutting with a#11 blade. It always seems that reg opague ultracote cuts like crap but the transparent stuff is a breeze for me to cut...G

Hey guys,
Find a friend that works in the medical field and buy a box of #11 scalpel blades. They are really sharp! They will fit in a regular handle, although some have a tab that will require you to modify the handle a bit. I've been using them for a couple years to trim Ultracote. There is also a #12 that is more of a hook blade. Haven't had much luck with those. You might even be able to do a search on the net and buy blades online.
For cutting long straight lines, I glued thin cork to the back of my 48" rule, and I use a rotary cutter that you can buy at most sewing shops.

Its kind of interesting on how this has mutated into a discussion on how to cut ultracote
Anyway, the kit is from http://www.singahobby.com and when I got it, it was S$220 shipped which is about $145-150 in US dollars.

I will be curious to hear how the wing holds up to high G loads. If it doesn't break, then it means we are generally putting way too much wood in our wings for most other kits.
