Guys,
I flew the Magic 3D with the following specs,
Engine : OS46SF
Prop : APC 12.25 x 3.75
Servos : 4 x DS8301 + HS-101
Battery : NiMh 1000 4.8V place in the fuse somewhere in the middle
Tank : 6oz, placed on the CG
CG : 5" with 35g of weight in the nose.
Control Deflection : Per Manual on High and Low Rates
Weight : 4lbs
1. I feel the plane is a bit pitch sensitive.
2. It prop hangs at about 1/3 throttle.
3. Not easy to prop hang, I need a lot of practise.
4. Initially the nose was steering to the left, so I added 1mm washers to mount to increase the right and down thrust to correct this.
Regards
Marcus

The Magic is a fun plane (my brother has one that I have flown) but it is tough to hover compared to others. It does great upright flat spins.

I have a magic and mine was hard to hover at first. I had the tank in the stock location, so i filled up the tank and balanced it that way. With a full tank it was pretty nose heavy, but not now. Hovers great with rebalancing
