yes i believe that is correct....def the right motor.....and if im not mistaken the 4 star 40 is the only one that comes in red?

hopefully thats not a 40 because the wing loading it gonna be that of a brick with that big motor on it

The .91FX is about the same weight as the .61FX. Ripping the wings off is another matter entirely.

i know i have one of these motors....even a 61 would be too much weight for those wings i think....speaking of unlimited vertical! lol

Default RE: Who can guess?

Well the answer to the engine and plane has been given, though not together.

It's a (pumped) OS 91FX in a Somethin' Extra (kit, not ARF). I guess that Sig shape is a giveaway.

It's not as heavy in the nose as you might think, the CG was spot on with the battery in the midsection.

It sure is a blast to fly, hovers at 1/2 throttle. I love taking off, rotating 90 degrees, and watching it accelerate vertically out of sight! The Somethin' Extra is a very strong airframe, big tempered aluminum tube wing joiner, braced tail section. I think the weakest spot is the fuse, right before the tail section. If I really wring it out without using some throttle restraint it comes back with wrinkles in the covering at that point in the fuse. Ooopps!
