Boxxer Video??? ...go with a Fusion?
I have (will have) a Saito .82 that I want to put on a .40-size 3D plane. I like the looks of the Boxxer, but there is no video anywhere.
Fusion looks good as well. Any suggestions?

The Saito .82 would be good for either plane but it comes down to what you want to do with the plane. The fusion is a great flying plane I have the 67" version myself anf my buddy Jeff has the 52" version.. Both are awesome. You can fly some very clean lines like a pattern plane or you can tear it up as a 3-D plane. I don't own nor have I flown the Boxxer. But I can imagine that a Bipe will fly a little tamer than a mono wing... Hey Victor you have both planes ( Fusion / Boxxer) whats your thoughts?

Jason The Fusion is the latest design using carbon fiber sandwiched between ply. This makes a fuse you could use as a baseball bat! I'm not trying to knock the Boxxer I have hours of enjoyment flying my Boxxer. The Fusion wing is removeable. The Saito 82 would be over the top power for either. The Fusion is easier to build and flyes like a pattern ship and a 3D monster in the same flight. The Video's for the Boxxer are around, yell louder! I have both planes because there both worth having! You can't go wrong with a Boxxer or Fusion.

Are you saying that the .82 is too much? I could go with a .72. I haven't bought one yet. I just thought that the .82 would be good for future full fuse .40-size planes.
Fusion is sounding more like the ticket, even though the Boxxer looks better (IMO).

The 82 would be real good on either. I flew a 4D that weighs 5 1/2 lbs and the 82 was fun, 3D fun. If you want a 4 Stroke on a 40 size profile the 82 is the best Saito has to offer.

What about a Saito .72 on either of these? I think I have identified a good deal on a .72. I guess no one wants to get rid fo their .82.

I have a Saito 72 on my Boxxer. The Fusion 52 is lighter than the Boxxer so with out guessing the Saito 72 would work great. I've watched a Fusion 52 with a Thunder Tiger 46 do every 3D maneuver I know about!

I've got the video of the Boxxer that I got from OMP site. It isn't on the site anymore, so how can I put this so everyone can see? Putfile?

Thanks, Wess!!! That is a great video (by a flyer much better than me for sure!). Now I am really torn. I think the benefit of the 2-piece wing may be the deciding factor, but bipes are just so sweet! Decisions, decisions...

RE: Boxxer Video??? ...go with a Fusion?
Good questions but I'd have to say both planes are vastly different. You really can't compare a biplane to a monoplane. Bipes just really have a different "sex-appeal" look in the air. I always say one of the coolest photos is of a biplane coming in at an inverted harrier. the Boxxer is really the ONLY choice if you are looking for a 40 size biplane. The Ultimate we sell is also the best flying 90 size bipe on the market. The Fusions however are totally different animals and blend both pattern style flying as well as 3d together. Check out the new video for the 40 size Fusion to see. The .82 would work on either the Boxxer or the Fusion. Just manage your power carefully so as not to over speed the plane. The .82 is definately on the high end of power!
