RE: BEST AVAILABLE PROFILE ARF FOR SAITO 180
OMP (Ohio Model Planes) make a nice 80 inch Yak profile. I do not own one, but have seen it fly. They are out of ARF's right now, so if you are in a hurry, you can build one of their kits. Their ARF's are back-ordered indefinitely I think.
8 years ago, I flew a Giant Su-do-Khoi with a Moki 180 which was a very nice combo. The Giant sudoKhoi is now marketed by Morris Hobbies. I don't know if it comes in an ARF, however. I build mine from a kit long before ARF's became so popular.

Tunnel Vision is on a special at Chiphyde.com I got one a few weeks ago - they are $299 I think, they used to be 349 but they got a batch in without the tailwheel assy's and they are discounting them 49 bucks I'm gonna use a OS 1.60 with a KS tuned pipe, it's a nice ARF 'cept for the chinacote crap covering, just be careful with the heat - it don't like alot and it shrinks wierd too - but it's still the best big profile out there - ask them for some extra covering when you order and they will throw some in for ya - you will need a piece of white for sure to cover the rudder servo mount if you use the 1.60 - you will want to move the rudder servo up to the canopy area.

I mounted all the servos in the tail with the 160 and a mousse can pipe with a header tank. I like my birds on the tail heavy side, however it does not fly tail heavy at all. The knife edge is crazy slow and ROCKS like a small profile.
BME 50?????????????? Dude! I like the way you think, we gotta party.

The whole chinaKote thing scared me away from all of his designs (and the scheme on most of the planes). I would strip it down and recover it.
