Low hovering??
I found that for me, bringing the plane in from the left or the right, like i'm going to settle in for a landing and keeping enough throttle on it to barely keep it moving, then just bring it down the runway toward me.. Then I get it about 10-15 feet infront of me and pitch it up.. and then just walk it toward me.. then settle into a hover right in front of me and there you go..
I don't know if you guys have "barriers" your not allowed to go past.. My field is a little different as far as all the rules, it's "fairly" laid back.. I love it..

Scratch Built Profile Plane
This is (or was) my own design plane.
I copied the wing of the uproar 60 and downsized it a little. The rest of the plane I just winged it. It flew great till I made a hesitation in flying one day and flew it straight into the ground at full speed. Not too much left of it.

Roy,
Your Question about Hitec Rednecks Laser 3D may not apply. If I'm not mistaken that is the Laser 3D parkflyer version powered by what I'm going to assume is a Speed 300 with a 4.5:1 gearbox, with an AUW of around 14 oz. Its about a 28-30" Span funfly that looks exactly like its bigger brother.

DUCK!!
Hear is my unknown Gee Bee Profile. I call her the Duck because of her markings. Will take off in a body length, loops super tight, rolls almost axial, capable of anything and fits in the trunk of my 76 Eldo Caddy with the top down (and the wing attached). I want more of these things! I love it. The motor is a really old K&B Torpedo .40. Seems to be more than enough at half throttle. Weight is 4.3 lbs. Here is a side view:

where is the photo of the Duck in the trunk of the Eldo?
I've once seen an add for that car claiming it to be the family car. The photo showed the car with a loades ski rack on it.
The ski rack ran across the trunck !!

TopCat
Chris 540,
I like your TopCat. What kind of performance do you have with your 4 stroke? I am considering a TopCat and want to know if you would recommend the same motor.

Profile Caddy
At 22 feet long and with the largest production motor made for the street (513 ci = 8 mph) she is no profile plane. I'll get picture of the trunk all loaded up (1 plane, 1 field box, 1 case for radios and chargers). Until then here she is:

Hey flylow..
I just put the Satio 72 on a few days ago. I have not flown it yet.
I did fly it all summer with a OS 46 FX and tuned pipe and it was incredible.
Wgeffon is the guy who turned me on to this combo. Maybe he can chime in and tell you about the performance. From what I hear it is breathtaking!

Lets See Some Fun Fly Plane Pics
This is my mew disk plane and it is more fun than any fun fly I have had in the past. It has some moves of its own and will hover as good as any plane.
