Well many have ask me to do a full review of the TMPRO Extra 260 profile. This is an 40 size airplane which a Thunder tiger pro 46 will be plenty for it. This is what I am going to put on it. This plane is made to fly fast and slow. 3D and Precision. This plane is designed to slow down and do all your 3D manuvers like hover rollin harriers and harriers. And plenty of other 3D manuvers. When you catch up some speed with this airplane it will then feel like a IMAC type airplane where you can practice your IMAC routines. The plane also comes with SFGs or also called "winglets" These are used to stable the airplane in high speed manuvers and slow manuvers.
What is really nice about the plane it comes with all your servo extensions. Each extension is made to the exact link to fit this airplane. The wings are also removable and are held on by one thumb screw.
Pictures coming soon. Sorry but couldnt get them to upload right on here tonight. Will try again tomorrow.
Will be doing a 3D setup video for this plane and also do a video talking about the plane. And of course plenty of video of it flying.

Looking forward to your build review and videos. Many of the 3D experts from the earlier 11 page thread will pipe in.
I made a trade this past weekend for this plane in the box. Maidened this morning using the Pro 46 as you plan. All went well except for the smaller tires and full open well pants on grass. I mounted the engine with the back of the thrust bearing even with the nose of fuse. This gave a cg of just under 4.5". I was surprised to find the furnished servo extensions even tho I didn't use the 3" leads for the Rx since I don't plan on taking the wings off. The only part of the supplied hardware I didn't use were the black clevises. There was no cross pin to go thru the control horn. Being more of a sport pilot, this plane flew as well if not better than my OMP Kat 46. I don't have the skill or interest in 3D styles of flight which doesn't let me compare how it does in low hover or others. Many of the expert 3D'ers trash a new plane since it doesn't meet their criteria or have a personal agenda with a distributor and this scares away the average pilot from a good profile plane.

Glad to see you got yours going. I have been very busy lately getting ready to go back to school this next Monday plus leaving for a imac contest tomorrow. So havnt had time to mess with the little stuff. Hopefully when the contest is over and when school starts up I will have time. I will try to post pictures of what I have so far later today if I can get to it. Hope everything goes well with your 260 and if you have any questions let me know.
By the way I plan not to use wheel pants
To me they get in the way using them on grass. Runway is fine though.

Most of the guys I know flying those by launching the airplane from hand,
as well as catching it once fuel about to finish.
So I guess in this case the wheel pants or/and the landing gear not
even tuch the ground/grass.

Sure hope they are not doing this at a field where AMA insurance required.

anyway, the wheel pants as far as I know are not supplied in any profile ARF
from other manufacturers and TMPro are the only ones who added them.
If flying on high grass than offcurse it will be better not to put them on.
We have been reported by some pilots that the SFG, if installed with the long part down
balance the airplane in high speed better...
If you using them, try both directions and decide what feel more comfortable to you.

Does AMA prehibit doing this ? or?

Yep, touching the plane while it's in the air is a bad no-no in the eyes of the AMA. Doesn't mean that it doesn't get done though.

See how dangerous 3D is? This poor guy was trying to hover and his foamy jumped up and smacked him in the mouth! [X(]
I hear that it tore his lips right off........................
