OMP giant 540 profile, Servo wires?
I was just wondering about routing the servo wires through the center of the fusalage, Whats the easiest way to pull them through?
I'm running brand new digitals and really don't like the idea of cuttin the ends off and soldering them to extentions.
Thanks
Scott

I just dropped a weighted string through from front to back and pulled them through with the appropriate extension secured to the servo leads. I used CA'ed string to keep the connection from coming loose but soldering the proper length is probably a better soluton. I did add the small "ramp" at the aft end to the tunnel as suggested on RCU which made the job a snap.

I wonder when some bright radio/servo outfit will start putting the harness connector in the base of the servos so you can put the right length wiring harness in the structure and plug the servos in after it's done. No extensions (Oh Oh - lost money), wing and tail servos plugged in and installed after everything else is done!

Agreed wholeheartedly tetherite.
To make matters worse the extension plugs end up buried- in the case of the OMP Giant 540 right in the middle of the tunnel and the wing- and can't be checked periodically. Even though I tied them with string, it causes some concern here. Of course you could drag out the soldering iron and do it yourself, but that causes concern in itself.

Billy,
It was in one of the build threads http://www.rcuniverse.com/showthread...p&pagenumber=1 message 4. The picture didn't show up as a thumbnail but the full size one worked when I tried it..
