Default probro downloads....is that how these things really fly?

I have to ask....cause I just downloaded them all and tried flying them.......boy talk about low and slow.......Is the G2 flight similar to the real thing?? I know, your thinking....what a stupid question, but I have yet to see this stuff in real life, so I was suprized when the knife got air born.

I dont thing the Dazzler could do that if it had to!!!
hahahahaha

ecajberry,
no questions are stupid, especially if you haven't seen a fun fly in action....i've never seen a r-c simulator in action but i will tell you my kit built knife will fly down the runway dragging the tail at walking speed. till you get use to it its very weird..there are no other fun fly or pro bros at my club...had to figure it out my self.
would have never got it with out R.C.universe....all the guys on here have been VERY helpful....ask away!

your gonna get a different perspective at the field , but I think G2 is a great aid in learing some 3D stuff....and for the novice that is learning to fly...I can tell a big difference from people that have used G2 from the folks that come out cold turkey....G

I think at the field it will be easier to pick up on subtle movements of the aircraft that I dont catch on G2 until its to late, by then the plane has snapped or rolled on its back and I have to re position ans begin again. I cant get the Knife to hover at all, but the Su-do I have been able to hold a hover for a minute or so. The wife thinks I am flirting with other women on the computer, cause I am in here so much......hahahahahah
Oh ya....I got the bug.......I got it real bad!!!
I should have had the FF540P sent next day air....hahahahah

I am giving serious thought to ordering OMP's new Yak so I can have a bit bigger plane in the stable......oh the choices and decisions I must make...hahahahah

If thats where the ProBro page directs me then yes. Cant say for sure of hand.

After looking into to it deeper I have to say no, so now I have another place to get some downloads it seems?? If so, which ones do you recomend?

Are those downloads on aero3d.net actual pln files or just the skins?

My experience is similar to Hackers. Out of curiosity I ordered the Sudokhoi video from Morris. My jaw was on the floor for most of the tape. On the tape Tony Ayer (don't know if I spelled that right) takes off and lands on a picnic table among many other wild things. Took me a while but I ordered one. What a blast!!! There's no other profile planes at our club. RCU and the internet helped me a ton! I had many helpful people send me a lot of set up pics. It is my favorite plane (out of 8 flying). Profiles are awesome.

The Knife I made is almost impossible to hover it is close in other areas though. I did it the way your supposed to...weight, width, etc. That doesn't always work. The UltimateBillyHell is the one to download. It will do anything and hovers very realistically. Just go here:

I have noticed a lot of the 3D birds that you can download have three bladed props.

You really have to tweak the G2 birds to fly like the real thing. For whatever reason the tri prop seems to help with not only hovering but even flat spins. Funny huh!

Lot of profile & other planes, lot of engines. Flying nicely.
