Default What would you guys recommend?

I banged up my 15 year old GP Super Sportster 40 pretty bad last Sunday due to a radio hit on short final last Sunday. I could probably repair it, but I'd rather build something new...

I've got an OS 46SF ABC for power...

I'm thinking Sig Somethin' Extra....

Any other suggestions??? I want something that can maybe do some 3D stuff, but can also just bore holes in the sky too, without fear of inducing deadly flutter should the throttle accidently get left wide open for a minute or 2

Let me have anything you can think of... !!

I'm gonna go get my reciever and get it ready to ship off to Radio South....

Thanks!

Yea, a SE would be a good choice. Also look into a Hard Bet III. You can fly a well built Fazer fast and bore holes.

The Somethin' Extra is a perfect choice...

It can take the stress and speed like no other FunFly I know...It's the perfect everyday airplane for relaxing flights and insane 3D stuff. It's not great at anything, but good at everything. Nothing beats their kit and instructions either...

You will love it! If you don't, I'll buy it from ya. You pay shipping...

They are bad luck. I have to warn you...It won't last you 15 years, that's for sure!

Take a look at the Hard Bet MkIII as suggested by YNOT. It was designed for exactly what you are talking about. My son loves speed, and I love 3D. It is designed for both. Ask others about it here on RCU, i.e. Smallfly & Jeff Williams, as well as others. It has removable wings via an aluminum wing tube and sleeves. Check it out at:

http://hsrcm.com/hb_mk3_overview.htm

Unlike others mentioned, it is a full fledge Fun-Fly capable of full 3D. Its not a sport plane with oversized surfaces like so many others. There is well over 100 digital pictures in the construction manual. Show me another manufacturer that does that. All kits are laser cut one at a time. Like YNOT stated, its worth considering.
