I just picked up a PIZZAZ yesterday since my lhs is selling them for $99.95. What I am wondering is, will my MAGNUM 46xls hover this plane with a 12.25x3.75 APC prop? And has any one built a stick tail to replace the heavy balsa slab tail?

I'm guessing you won't have enough with that Mag 46 xls.... I had an Irvine .53 on mine and it hovered pretty good... I liked the 12 x 4 apc prop on it or the 12.25 x 3.75 prop.

I built a new wing.. but never tried to rebuild the tail feathers.

I doubt a 46 will give you enough power to hover. I personally like the Saito 72 on one if you have the extra money.
