Default Sledge vs Hard Bet?

Just finished my Sledge and finally got a few flights on it. This is going to be one fun plane (Thanks Jeff Williams). I've been looking at the Hard Bet Mk III for a while now and was wondering how the two planes compare. Appreciate any input.

Thanks

Mike

Default Sledge vs Hard Bet?

Well I may be one of the few people that have owned both. They both have there respective good and bad qualities. The box fuse of the HB is much tougher (and heavier) and the rudder is more effective one the HB, real pinwheels are possible. The sledge is lighter preforms harriers better (IMO) and hovers a little easier. I guess the bottom line is the HB is tough capable of slamming the sticks anywhere in a high speed dive and the sledge is better at 3d. but if your looking for a 40 size FF with removable wings the hard bet is your choice (probably the only choice) I would recommend the ecstacy myself if your looking at kevins airplanes. It is a blast

Default SmallFly's - Right

Escesntially Tom's right - the Hard Bet Mk III and a profile (Sledge or otherwise) are different 'animals'. The Hard Bet MkIII (HB3) is a unique design in that it is designed to fly fast as well as slow, though still tumble like a Fun Fly. Its a 'hybriad'. It has some flight characteristics of a pattern aircraft without the long tail moment, with 3-D capabilities.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
Kevin
