Heres the garage sale steal of the year...Not sure what it is, think its a Falcon 56. Steves dad found this plane , motor (O.S.40 FSR) servos and an am rec at a garage sale in Chicago, bought it for 15 bucks. Its got JR gear in it now. The old FSR runs great turns a 10x6 @13,000. and flies like a dream

Then got to fly this SR-71 scratch build, ASP46 pusher, we had the prop on backwards so the 1st T/O attempts failed, but young Jack01 told us we were idiots and showed us our error. After we turned the prop around thrust was alot better, but it was a tad bit nose heavy. The controls elevons looked like they had WAY too much throw even on low rates, but on T/O the nose started boucneing and I fliped it on high rate and off she went, pucker factor was high , the thought of a dead stik was on my mind, but it weren't no MDS so at least we had that going for us...heres a pic

it was scarey. the last time a maidened a plane for this guy(F4U), the Corsair snaped on me too times and disappeared into the corn field, to 45 min to field and the results weren't good
so needless to say, that was in the back of my mind, but other than beig a little nose heavy it didnt fly that bad, need an FX46 or 50 onit with a tower muff or UT muff, and God, dont let the fire go out......
