HEY - BUDDY!!!!
I wasted 2 FFs this past weekend. Aeron & Wacky-Bee III - RIP I finally figured it out after the third aircraft went nuts on the ground. The common denominator was the Tx -
Oh Well - I needed an excuse to order me a Futaba 9C I can't complain about my 8UAF. I've had it a loooooooong! time!
Back to my point - Bucket - send me an airplane!!!!! <LOL>
I've got allot of building to do with no spare time right now.

Well Kevin I just put the Aeron on the board. I've got to make another trip to get the rest of the wood. Seems like there is something going on every weekend for the next month or two, so I'm hoping to finish it in a reasonable time.
By the way I'll have to hack on you Futaba guy's later. "Feel the Difference"?

My Futaba 8UAFs have lived a long and rough life, Extremely rough! I personally won't go back to JR. Needless to say, that is personal preference.

I'm with Ulf
I had Futaba and went JR. JR is much more intuitive to program, bigger more legible display and, oh yes, that JR "feel". Kevin, sorry to hear you lost 2 planes in one weekend - that's gotta hurt. I don't crash often, but for me it's not as much the cost as the time invested. Crashing sucks.

Kevin,
My 8uaf started doing strange things a couple of weeks ago. I resoldered the pins that come out of the back of the transmitter and go into the rf module. These joints looked fine but tapping on the module with the tx on would cause the servos to jump. It seems to have fixed mine. I belive these joints were a problem on some 8uafs.

Happens that the Prez of our club runs a vinyl sign company. So I took the downloaded logo to him and he printed it on clear vinyl and sprayed it with clear. They turned out pretty good.
Thanks for all the complements guys!!!
