Default Krazy Legs Gear on TopCap

I re-engined my tail heavy TopCap from a Saito .72 to a Saito .91. With an APC 15-4W prop the stock gear was marginal. I had read about Krazy Legs gear here on RCU and picked up a couple of sets to try. They are plenty tall. There is 4 inches of prop clearance with a 15 inch prop on the TopCap.

As you can see in the photo, the gear bolts on in the stock location-you have to drill mounting holds in the gear. The axle is included, BTW. They are springy, but go right back to the stock position.

I admit that I have not done one of the "spread 'em out and drag the fuselage" landings yet, but they seem plenty strong.

My second set is going on an Extreme 330 here soon.

They are sold by Tetherite Plastics (281)488-3993

Default How much?

Nice looking TopCap Ed. How much did you pay for the Krazy Legs? I'll be needing gear for the Sledge short kit I've ordered.

That's close Swany! Retail is $12.95 + $4.00 S&H.
