I have recently purchased a slightly used ys 63on a omp edge andam having problems with fuel dumping from the carburator. It also loads the engine up after I finally get it started and shut it off. Engine will not tune whatsoever. I had a locally club member look at it who has a couple ys 4 strokes and he is at a loss with the thing. Please help if you can.

Hi Franke, post it here and I'll almost bet they'll have a quick answer. In fact, if you have time to search, you'll prolly find a similar problem / post as yours.

sounds like your pressure regulator is set too high. if turning it in does not alleviate the problem with fuel pouring out then the regulator either has a bad diaphram in it or the spring or plunger in it is broke

sounds like you are currently using the newer version since you can not see how it comes apart. the top and bottom are press fit together. you will see a seam in the middle splitting top from bottom. you have to squeze a knife blade in the seam and then gently separate them. sometimes holes in the diaphram are too small to really see well and you replace them anyways as long as you got it open
