Default APRA wings

How much glass/carbon are people using in their APRA wings? I bagged my first wing and I know I put way too much material in it, but I wanted it to be bullet proof. I am talking about a wing purely for sport quicky. It will never see a Nelson.

Default RE: APRA wings

If it is a straight wing and the sheeting goes full span... you do not need any glass for sport flying. If you have two wing panels, a couple of light layers on the center section are enough to keep it in one piece.

You only need a strong wing to go around pylons... and even then, you will be surprised what abuse a simple foam and balsa wing can take...
