How do you run the receiver antenna
I'm just finishing up a Predator for slow quickie
club racing. Where and how do you run the antenna?
To balance without lead, I had to put the receiver
just behind the fuel tank. Should I just drill a
small hole thru the side and one in the tail post
and thread it out and back? Thanks.

That would work fine. Some guys don't have any antenna sticking out at all. They run it down and back in tubes (that's what I do in Q40... In Q500 I usually leave about 2-4" sticking out the inspection hole (internal elevator controls)...

where to go.
For years I just punched a hole on the non-oily side and ran it down the side. Then some ya-hoo said you need to put inside, you lose 4 MPH if you don't.
So I have my receiver under the rear wing hold down and run the anttena forward as far as I can then run it back inside along the side and out the back leaving a inch or two sticking out the back

How do you run the receiver antenna
I use the thin, light, coffee straws from work or Starbucks... put enough together until it is long enough and run it down the fuse and exit at the rear... this will leave several inches of antenna sticking out the rear... just enough for the caller to hold onto! Remember to wax the exposed antenna so you won't lose any speed!

You can also use a 3' steel rod with a 'c' groove cut out of the end, punch it through the back of the fuse, then thickCA the edge of the antennae wire to the rod and kik it to hold. Then just pull the rod back out of the end and carefully remove the CA from the antennea...
