Nelson's Paint Alternative
Jerry has closed down his business including his paints. He made the announcement on his home page, nelsonhobby.com. Do we have any alternative providing of his type paints? I've used Warbird Colors paint and was quite happy with it, but he only offers war bird colors which don't necessarily match civilian colors offered in the Ultracote and Monokote lines.

The paint is from System Three http://www.systemthree.com

Nelson's mixed custom colors and sold small quantities.

Thanks for the link. I wonder why it's cheaper to buy in 4 oz bottles than quarts? You could get a quart's worth of 4 oz bottles for $16 LESS than buying a quart.
Those 4 oz bottle prices are very nice as a way to experiment...I'll have to give it a try.

RE: Nelson's Paint Alternative
I hope Jerry is able to get the business going again, or that someone will buy it and run it correctly. One of the guys in our club uses the paint and his projects look really good.
According to the S3 web site they can make custom colors. Probably $$$$ if you just need a few ounces.
Or you can buy several stock colors and make your own custom blends, which can also add up to $$$$.
